The city of Cangzhou has policy advantages in integrating with Beijing and Tianjin, said Jiao Yanlong, secretary of Cangzhou municipal Party committee, Beijing Daily reported on March 5, 2014.
Cangzhou, as a coastal city in North China's Hebei province, boasts huge advantages in transportation. Its Huanghua Port will serve as Beijing's sea port after Beijing-Cangzhou expressway opens. The city has a well-developed transportation network. It only takes 51 minutes from Cangzhou to the capital by Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway.

Cangzhou is also rich in land resources. There are more than 2 million mu (133,333 hectares) of unused land along its coast, which is considered prime spots for industries to relocate from Beijing and Tianjin.
It also has many high and new technology industrial development zones and clusters. Meanwhile, the city's cheap shipping, land and labor can bring low cost advantages to its enterprises.
The city will accelerate helping those industries relocate from Beijing and Tianjin, such as petrochemicals and equipment manufacturing. It will encourage large enterprises in the two regions to help develop its eastern coastal areas and build industrial bases. In addition, more preferential policies will help attract talents from Beijing and Tianjin.
Cangzhou had 460 cooperation projects with Beijing last year, with total investment reaching 126 billion yuan ($20.56 billion). The capital city has become the main region to bring funds and technology to Cangzhou.
