The China (Langfang) International Economic and Trade Fair 2013, one of Hebei province's top economic events, will open, on Saturday, and run for four days and is expected to attract more investment and boost the local economy.
There will be a special event for top private enterprises, especially China's top 500 private enterprises, on Friday, as the trade fair’s highlight. At least 60 of China’s top 500 private enterprises have signed up for the event to discuss cooperation with local companies, an indication of the boom in Hebei'private economy.
There will be more than 140 large private enterprises taking part in the trade fair, including Lenovo, the Dalian Wanda Group, and New Hope Group, one of China's largest agribusinesses. About 70 percent of them plan to sign contracts with local companies, something that will certainly improve the industrial structure and enliven the market. The private companies taking part in the trade fair cover culture, tourism, food, new energy sources, and finance.
After the special event over the weekend, the provincial government will make an effort to attract more private investment and plans to build a database for major private enterprises, while updating their information and investment proposals, and following up on projects. For the present, in the case of joint projects, it will help to smooth the process of implementation. |
