Hebei province recently sent a delegation to Yunnan province for an on-the-spot discussion and communication on economic cooperation and for strengthening the relationship between the two provinces for mutual benefit by using each other's advantages. The head of the delegation was Yang Chongyong, the acting vice-governor of the province.
The meeting, on Hebei-Yunnan Industrial Program Promotion, was in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province, on April 7. Li Jiang, the acting vice-governor of Yunan, gave a brief introductory speech about Yunnan and its development advantages and preferential policies. He also gave an analysis of the future prospects for the two in cooperation. Yang responded by speaking of the advantages Hebei’s enterprises offer and its key cooperative programs.
In all, 60 Hebei enterprises took part in the meeting under Hebei province's development and reform commission and provincial State-owned assets supervision and administration commission guidance. There were 102 enterprises from Yunnan province taking part.
