Xingtai city’s Qinghe county, Hebei province, exported 300 kilogram of cashmere to Malaysia, recently, worth $35,000, after receiving the approval of Qinghe office under Xingtai municipal export and import bureau. This is the county’s first time to export cashmere to the Southeast Asian country.
Qinghe has China’s biggest cashmere production, about 15 billion yuan worth over 30 years of development since 1978 when Qinghe just began to develop its cashmere industry, and is referred to as the Chinese Textile City or World Cashmere City.
