The Hebei Tourism Investment (Group) Co, in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province, which has big plans to beautify Hebei province, announced its formal opening, on Dec 19.

The company will be mainly involved in leisure activities and cultural expos covering hotels, scenic areas, and tourism, commercial, and ecology complexes.

Hebei Tourism Investment was established by the Hebei Construction Group as a large investment company with share holding system, backed by nearly 10 billion yuan in investment, and with Hebei provincial government approval. It expects to take the lead in tourism industry development in the province and to become a source of finance for the province’s tourism industry.
