There was a national traditional Chinese realistic painting exhibition that opened in Changzhou, Hebei province, on Oct18, which will last Until Nov 6. The sponsors are the China Artists Association and Changzhou municipal people’s government.

There are 290 works of art on display, selected from 2,300 art works submitted from all over the country, which stick close to nature and life, in their various representations. The works have a unique expressive force found in paintings in the traditional realism style. They are visually provocative and reflect Chinese social development process in the contemporary era and the artist’s humanity and care for society, nature, the people, and life.
