The work on several key province projects has gone in the first three quartes of this year, with 298 of them underway, or 83 percent of the Hebei province’s total, according to the provincial development and reform commission. So far, 231.44 billion yuan ($36.94 billion) has been put into key provincial projects, or 69.5 percent of the expected amount for the entire year.
Fifteen projects, including the third phase of the Caofeidian coal wharf and third phase of an ore project, have State approval. There are 10 others, including a pyro-electricity project in the Bohai new district, which are being the approval process with the national development and reform commission). Another 38, including a Caofeidian 10-million-ton oil refinery, have been approved for preliminary work.
Applications on 16 other projects, such as Jingtang Steel II, have been filed with the State, and 11, including an equipment manufacturing project of the China Genamei Precision Equipment Manufacturing Co, have begun earlier than expected, with 6.57 billion yuan in backing. |
