Hebei will launch an emergency price monitoring mechanism starting Sept 30 and will issue daily reports on the prices of 30 necessity items.
Commodity price departments at all levels are required by the Provincial Price Bureau to participate. They will strengthen supervision over prices of food such as mooncakes, grain and oil. They will also continue supervising price behavior in trade and business, transportation, and the tourism market.
Inspection and supervision will intensify for civil airlines, railway, highway, and taxi service prices. Prices and charges concerning tourism will also be monitored. In addition, the bureau will focus on implementing a favorable policy for tourism parking and tickets.
Crackdowns will occur to limit misleading ticket price information, hoarding and profiteering, blind price increases, and conspiring to raise prices. |
