"Hebei's Top 100 Historical Events Influencing China" results were officially revealed on August 28. Many major events were included, such as Zu Chongzhi's discovery of Pi and the Party Central Committee's move to Xibaipo.

Voting began on June 15 and concluded on July 25. Over 3.5 million people paid attention to the online voting. About 117,000 people, including specialists, scholars, government officials, teachers and college students voted on line.

The voting further improved Hebei’s prestige and has served to introduce Hebei to the entire nation and the world.
