Hebei's organization department, science and technology department, and Science and Technology Association decided to create academician work stations in 20 companies and departments, including the Shijiazhuang General Aviation Industrial Base, Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., and Hebei Silicone Valley Chemical Co. Decisions were made after the companies' application and field work were examined and verified.

The academician work stations were created to introduce more academicians, encourage their participation in Hebei's construction work, and provide them with good working conditions. Hebei's organization department, science and technology department, and Science and Technology Association require the stations to introduce academicians and enhance organization and services for academicians. The stations will serve as a platform for science and technology development and creation, supporting the economic transformation in Hebei.

To date, statistics from the provincial science and technology department shows the number of stations within companies, higher education and research departments has increased to 80, attracting 236 academicians and their teams. Among them, 52 stations were formed in companies. These companies' research spans dominant industries, new industries and key developing fields.
