Anping General Firework Factory Fireworks recently produced and sent 9.98 tons of fireworks to the United Kingdom for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The fireworks cost a total of $31,000 and were sent after an inspection by the Hengshui Entry-Exit Inspection and Existing Council. This is the second time Hengshui fireworks have been used in the Olympic Games since Beijing.
As the largest firework factory in North China, Anping General Firework Factory developed rapidly with the help of the Inspection and Existing Council and local government. The products have been distributed to more than 20 countries and districts and used at the ceremonies of Hong Kong’s return to China in 1997, the 60th anniversary of the PRC, a French fireworks competition and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
After the factory was chosen for the 2012 London Olympic Games, Hengshui Inspection and Existing Council conducted an overall checkup to ensure the quality of the fireworks and examined the transport packaging to guarantee the safety of arrival. |
