The first Hebei (Shijiazhuang) Garden Expo held its opening ceremony on April 28 in Hebei provincial Garden, located in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei province. Sun Ruibin, Secretary of Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, was there to announce the opening of the expo.

The event is sponsored by the Hebei provincial government with “garden in life” as its theme.

The expo will last until May 31. During the one-month exhibition, senior level forums and an urban culture theme week will take place for visitors to enjoy the greenery.

Hebei Provincial Garden covers an area of 80 hectares (800,000 square meters), made up of eight functional areas, among which the main pavilion is the main building with an area of 23,000 sq-ms.
