The Fifth Session of the Tenth Hebei CPPCC committee concluded on Jan 9.

During the conference approval was given for political resolutions, the new work report and the report of resolution proposal. Meanwhile, Fu Zhifang and Liu Yongrui were elected as the chairman and vice-chairman of Hebei CPPCC committee respectively.

“The meeting concluded successfully with all the attendees’ efforts” said Fu Zhifang. “They have proposed many constructive suggestions concerning the development, reform and perspective of the province after hearing a series of work reports.”

He also noted that all the members should join hands to further encourage political consultation, democratic supervision and better participation in state affairs. With this effort, they will be able to create a modern and harmonious province.
