Strong winds will hit eastern China's Shandong Province over the ext two days with a temperature drop of up to seven degrees Celsius, said the provincial meteorological bureau Wednesday.
Influenced by the cold wave and northeastern cyclones, strong gales will sweep the coast and move inland from Wednesday night until Friday.
Meanwhile, the bureau also said that the temperature will drop four to seven degrees Celsius to the lowest point of minus 4 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning.
The bureau has warned citizens to be prepared for upcoming gales. Vessels sailing or working offshore have been urged to take shelter from the winds.
North China's Hebei Province also issued a strong winds alert Tuesday, saying strong winds up to force six would bring the temperature down to the lowest minus six degrees Celsius.
