The 7th International Investment and Trade Fair 2010 & the 5th International Pharmaceutical Exhibition opened on Monday in Shi Jiazhuang, capital of Hebei province.

Jointly hosted by the Hebei Government, the Hebei Province Bureau of Health, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hebei Sub-Council, the fair involves 134 cooperation agreements with a total investment of over 100 billion yuan from both domestic and overseas markets.

About 10 Fortune 500 companies and some leading enterprises in domestic markets are attending the fair, including GE, Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Legend Group, Sony Group, and Shenzhen Seg.

Hebei Vice-Governor Yang Chongyong and Shi Jiazhuang Communist Party Secretary Sun Ruibin spoke at the opening ceremony.
