The 2010 China Plastic Industry Fair was held in Cangzhou International Conference and Exposition Center from Sept 16 to 18.

With a total exhibition area of 10,000 sq m, the fair attracted more than 300 enterprises from throughout the country. This was the first event of its kind to be held in Cangzhou, focusing on plastic processing equipment and plastic products at a high level. Hundreds of plastic enterprises in Cangzhou displayed their equipment and products.

During the fair, several summit forums of the Chinese plastic industry were held simultaneously, with more than 2,000 insiders of the plastic industry negotiating businesses and exchanging information.

Liao Zhengpin, Chairman of the China Plastic Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), said that this was his first time choosing a city at the local level to hold such a nationwide fair, attracted by Cangzhou’s advantages and basis for plastic industry development, as well as the firm guarantee it would provide for the further development of plastic and supporting industries. 

The fair was co-hosted by the China Plastic Processing Industry Association (CPPIA) and Cangzhou Municipal People's Government.

Currently, Cangzhou has over 1200 relevant plastic enterprises, with an annual output of more than 10 billion yuan. In February 2010, Cangzhou Economic Development Industry Park was named the demonstration park of the plastic industry by the CPPIA, becoming one of the national key development parks of the plastic industry.
