Hebei Hengshui Laobaigan Liquor (600559) posted first half net profits on August 27, rising 3.07 percent year-on-year to 17.85 million yuan, with earnings per share of 0.13 yuan, citing a company filing.

Sales revenue in the first half of the year rose 0.42 percent year-on-year to 492.94 million yuan.

Revenue from baijiu liquor sales climbed 2.18 percent year-on-year to 469.11 million yuan, with gross margin increasing 1.58 percentage points to 46.10 percent in the first half of the year.

Revenue from pork sales fell 25.47 percent to 18.44 million yuan, with gross margin plunging 35.55 percentage points to a negative 26.32 percent during the same period.
