China State Construction Engineering Corp Ltd <601668>, the country's largest comprehensive construction and property company, announced that it has signed RMB 1.38 billion worth of construction contract with property developer Longjitaihe Industrial Group for a mixed-use project in Handan, Hebei province on July 29.

The entire project will have a floor area of 1 million square meters.

In addition, the Shanghai-listed firm won the bids for seven construction projects worth a total of 16.96 billion RMB on July 25 and acquired a 400,000-sq m project in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.

In the first half of this year, China State Construction Engineering reaped RMB 2.35 billion in net profit, and its earnings per share were RMB 0.13.
