The Third Session of the 10th Hebei People's Political Consultative Conference (HPPCC) will be held from Jan. 11 to 15 in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei province, the HPPCC announced at a press conference.

An Yunfang, secretary general of HPPCC, briefed on major issues the conference will focus on and its agenda at the press conference on January.8.

He said the five-day conference will review HPPCC's work in the past year and plan work for 2010. The conference will deliberate on and approve the work report of the Standing Committee of the 10th HPPCC and relevant decisions.

The secretary general said the conference is important for implementing what the Fourth Plenum of the 17th CPC, President Hu Jintao’s speech at the 60 th Anniversary of CPPCC and the Hebei provincial economic meeting advocate.
