Bo Yanrong

Bo Yanrong, a rural educator, has taught for 38 years. He fell down and hurt his right hand in 1990 during a visit to the parents of schoolchildren and began to teach with his left hand. His devotion and love toward the students won him respect from many families.

Qimin Volunteers

Qimin Volunteers, a group created by Hebei native Guo Qimin, is devoted to causes for the public good, helping people through efforts such as cleaning homes of elderly people, paying household electricity bills for those in need and donating to earthquake-stricken areas. More than 2,000 individuals and 20 entities have joined the group.

Cao Shibao

Cao Shibao collects and recycles garbage to help his foster daughter receive 14 years of treatment for her eyes that allowed her to see the world again.

Zhang Gaihua

For 25 years without a break, Zhang Gaihua and her husband Wang Xian have selflessly provided for an elderly neighbor who is not related to them.
