China will allow the entry of foreign nationals holding three categories of valid Chinese residence permits starting on Monday, according to an announcement jointly made by the Foreign Ministry and the National Immigration Administration.
China announced on Thursday measures to make it easier for people to enter and leave the country to support epidemic control work and the resumption of work and production.
Chinese visas fall into four types: diplomatic visa, courtesy visa, service visa and ordinary visa. Ordinary visa is further divided into the following eight categories each marked with a phonetic letter:
