Four babies of Francois's leaf monkey, olive baboon, black-and-white colobus monkey and grivet were recently born in Qianlingshan Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The park is taking good care of both baby monkeys and their mothers, feeding the mothers with steamed buns, vegetables, fruits, eggs and milk.
During the May Day holiday from April 30 to May 4, visitors will be able to see the baby monkeys. Feeding the monkeys, tapping the glass and taking photos with flash on are forbidden.
The Francois's leaf monkeys were introduced to the park in the 1980s. They are under national first-grade protection and are difficult to breed in captivity. The olive baboons, black-and-white colobus monkeys and grivets were introduced to the park in 2016 and have given birth to several monkeys since then.
