Guiyang North Railway Station and Jinyang Bus Station are two key transportation hubs in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
To prepare for the Spring Festival travel rush from Jan 17 to Feb 25, the two stations have taken COVID-19 control and prevention measures.
At Guiyang North Railway Station, integrated machines that can scan health codes and measure body temperatures were installed at the entrance. Passengers can stand in front of the cameras and scan their ID cards to show their information of body temperature, health code status, nucleic acid test results, and vaccination records in just three seconds.
Passengers from overseas, areas with middle and high risks in China, and those who have had close contact with confirmed cases can report their travel information, have nucleic acid tests, and be transferred for quarantine through different special passages to avoid contact with other passengers.
The railway station has set pandemic prevention and control service stations at the east and west squares. Both stations can contain 300 people at the same time, and can screen more than 4,000 people per day.

Jinyang Bus Station currently operates 42 trans-provincial bus routes and 150 provincial routes. The station prepared medicine, masks, and wet wipes for migrant workers coming back home.
To further prevent and control the pandemic, the station disinfects buses regularly, scans health codes, and measure body temperatures of all the passengers and requires everyone to purchase bus tickets with the real name.
To provide convenience for passengers who take off by train at the Guiyang North Station and need to take buses at Jinyang Bus Station, bus stops are set at the west exit of Guiyang North Stations so that passengers can directly take buses to go home or go to Jinyang Bus Station, without extra traveling.
In addition to service windows at Jinyang Bus Station, passengers can also purchase bus tickets via apps and WeChat applets.
