Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently listed among the second batch of "Innovation China" pilot cities and industrial parks.
"Innovation China" is a project launched by the China Association for Science and Technology to explore the integration of enterprises and universities, and allow technologies to better serve economic development.
It aims to utilize the China Association for Science and Technology's talent and technology resources to contribute to regional innovation and economic growth.
Guiyang will receive support for technology consulting, technology services, the commercialization and transfer of scientific and technological achievements, and talent attraction.
The city will soon release its construction plans for an "Innovation China" pilot city, establish a special work team, set up special funds, and provide other targeted services.
Meanwhile, Guiyang and Guian New Area will further their integrated development and exchange with East China to promote technological innovation, product innovation, management innovation, and model innovation in key industries.
