China's first fusion media data security lab was unveiled in the Guiyang National Economic and Technological Development Zone, Southwest China's Guizhou province on April 22, another innovation in big data application and fusion development of media.
According to the plan, the lab will establish a team of talents from media outlets, big data security companies and research institutions. The talents will establish a joint prevention, control and coordination mechanism for network, information, data and content security.
The lab will build China's first security system and cyber range for fusion media, and release security research achievements to protect the healthy development of fusion media.

As one of the core areas in the Guizhou National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Area, Guiyang pioneered the fusion development of big data and established China's first big data security industrial demonstration zone.
So far, Guiyang has taken the lead in exploring the integration of traditional media and emerging media by building a cooperative system for fusion media centers at provincial, municipal and county levels.
The fusion media data security lab is considered another innovation in the application of big data, AI and security technologies in fusion media.
