Guizhou province plans to prioritize the development of ecological sport parks and mountain tourism, according to a sport industries investment plan for 2016 to 2020.
The plan, recently released by the Sport Administration of Guizhou Province, says that 3.5 billion yuan ($509.81 million) will be utilized to build 100 ecological sport parks and 7.5 billion yuan will be used to set up camping bases. Another 200 million yuan will also be invested in one or two sports training bases.
By the end of 2016, Guizhou already completed the construction of 15 ecological sport parks and the province launched the construction of another 21 parks this year.
