A team of volunteers from Guizhou will embark on a months-long program in Myanmar on Dec 14 as part of the China Youth Volunteer Service Abroad Project.
The volunteers will stay in Myanmar for half a year to one year and engage in a series of training projects for locals. The volunteers will provide assistance with mechanical, ecological, architectural, petroleum engineering and sports projects.
The event is part of the China Youth Volunteer Service Abroad Project initiated by Central Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Commerce and the government of China covers most of the volunteers’ expenditure.
