A cocktail reception was held in the Sheraton Guiyang Hotel to celebrate Marriott International Inc’s purchase of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc on Sept 26.
Marriott is one of the world’s largest hotel companies with more than 5,700 properties in more than 110 countries. The company, based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, operates and franchises hotels and licenses vacation ownership resorts.

“The acquisition will bring together 30 leading brands to ensure Marriott have the right brand in the right place to serve guests wherever they travel,” said Roger Ding, general manager of the Sheraton Guiyang Hotel.
