The No 7 pavilion of vintage wine is expected to be finished on Sept 8, one day before the Sixth International Alcoholic Beverage Expo kicks off.
Any Guizhou residents, who have well-known Chinese wines produced before 2000, can bring their collections to the pavilion. Experts will authenticate the wines and once agreement is reached, the organizers will buy the wines at current market prices.
As well as the opportunity to sell wines, nearly 1,500 bottles of vintage wines will be on display for visitors. Xiao Qiang, a famous wine collector from Guizhou, contributed 500 bottles to the event.
