A group wedding in Miao ethnic style for 10 couples was held at a Dong's village in Xiaochehe Wetland Park in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, on April 27.

The brides and grooms sang duets, strode over a brazier, gulped several bowls of liquor and wore a ceremonial red egg on a necklace at the wedding, which all represents good luck and a happy marriage in Miao culture.

However, these 20 young people were not from Miao ethnic group. Most of them were technical experts at a local engineering and construction company, hailing from all around China. But one thing united them all, they work, met, and fell in love with their spouse in Guizhou.

Devoting themselves to their work for years, some even postponed their weddings, so the company decided to organize a traditional Miao wedding for them all to commemorate their love in Guizhou, the land they contributed to develop.
