The Guiyang agriculture commission signed cooperative agreements with six enterprises to promote the construction of agriculture parks on May 13.
The signing enterprises, from Hunan, Hubei and Chongqing, have rich experiences in production technology, management and market analysis. They will invest 1.19 billion yuan ($191 million) to develop processed tea, ecological cycle and grass planting in Guiyang.
"The cooperation will adjust the single industrial chain to multiple industrial chain, single investment to overall investment," said a Guiyang agriculture commission official.
According to plans, Guiyang will build 25 agriculture demonstration parks by 2017.
