The China International Big Data Industry Expo (Big Data Expo), the world's first national exhibition themed around big data, attended the 2020 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is running from Jan 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, the United States.
The annual CES was first held in 1967 and has become a platform for global electronic product companies to launch new products, as well as display their latest technologies ever since.
CES gathers a large number of outstanding and cutting edge consumer electronics manufacturers and IT companies to showcase the most advanced technologies and product services, attracting over 200,000 visitors every year.
As the world's largest and most influential electronic technology exhibition, CES is one of the most important channels for the Big Data Expo to expand its markets in the US and North America.
Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province and home to the Big Data Expo, organized onsite promotion focusing on the 2020 Big Data Expo, Shubo Avenue (Big Data Avenue), and China's Data Valley at CES.
During the past five years, the total number of visitors at the Big Data Expo has increased from 13,000 people in 2015 to 125,000 people in 2019, while the number of guests has increased from 153 people in 2015 to 1,574 in 2019.
According to big data experts in Guiyang, Big Data Expo's debut at CES will expand Guiyang's international influence as China's Data Valley by introducing the Big Data Expo's achievements and Guiyang's plan for big data's innovative development in 2020.
