FAST (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope), is the world's largest radio telescope, located in Pingtang county, Southwest China's Guizhou province. The 500-meter radio telescope is located in a local karst depression called "Dawodang" in Pingtang county. It is the world's largest and most advanced single-caliber radio telescope.
