Located in the center of Bijie city in northwestern Guizhou province, Bailidujuan Scenic Spot is a national forest park, national ecological tourism demonstration area, and is among the top ten most attractive tourism areas in Guizhou province.

It has gradually become a popular tourist destination for Chinese and foreign visitors alike.
The Bailidujuan Scenic Spot lies in the heart of Wumengshan Mountain in northwestern Guizhou at the junction of Dafang County and Qianxi County in Bijie City and covers a total area of 600 square meters.
With a total population of 110,000, it is home to four ethnic group townships, including - Pudi, Jinpo, Renhe and Dashui. More than ten ethnic groups are distributed throughout Bailidujuan Scenic Spot, including the Yi, Miao, Bai, Man and Bouyei peoples. Ethnic groups account for 71 percent of the total population.
The Bailidujuan Scenic Spot is the largest primitive azalea belt in the world, with over 60 varieties of azalea. The 1,200-year-old Rhododendron delavayi Franch is growing on Baimashan Mountain and has a trunk diameter of 242cm.
A total of 800 million metric tons of high-quality anthracite is located in Bailidujuan Scenic Spot, leading to the nickname "flower mountain and coal sea".
In addition to the azalea, Bailidujuan Scenic Spot is also a primeval forest scenic spot with a multitude of towering old trees. Mountains, waters, forests and caves add beauty to the area, while rare fowls and strange animals create a sense of mystique.
During the hot summer months, Bailidujuan National Forest Park can serve as an ideal place to escape the heat, with its tall trees and refreshing streams.
The altitude of Bailidujuan's 100,000 acres of grassland is 1780m-1922m. The grasslands are covered by exotic flowers and rare herbs. Sinkholes are scattered throughout, leading to the area's reputation as a magical fairy tale land of karst mountains.
Bailidujuan Scenic Spot is mainly composed of Pudi Scenic Spot, Jinpo Scenic Spot, Grassland Scenic Spot, Bailidujuan Lake Scenic Spot, Midi River Scenic Spot, Rhododendron Delavayi Franch Scenic Spot and Gamu Scenic Spot. Pudi Scenic Spot and Jinpo Scenic Spot are the oldest and most popular flower areas in Bailidujuan Scenic Spot.
Pudi Scenic Spot contains a number of attractions, such as Shuhuafeng Mountain, Yuntailing Mountain, Zuijiuniu, Wucai Road and Shexiangling Mountain. Jinpo Scenic Spot includes Baihuaping, Jinjiqing Valley, Huameiling Mountain, Jinpoling Mountain and Maying Forest.
Since 2015, Bailidujuan Scenic Spot has launched a helicopter flight project and a fire balloon overlooking the "flower sea". The newly-added large scale Yi music and dance poem "Azalea Blooming" has enriched amusement projects in the scenic spot.
