Three trademarks, "甲秀智库" (Jiaxiu Zhiku), "今黔智库联盟" (Jiqian Zhiku Lianmeng) and "今黔社科云" (Jiqian Shekeyun), have recently been approved by the State Intellectual Property Rights Office, according to an announcement released by the Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences on Jan 2.
According to the approval, the three trademarks can be used in five international categories related to computer software downloads, mobile phone application downloads, advertising, marketing, education, personnel consultancy, cloud computing and online social needs.
In recent years, the Guizhou academy has made great efforts to develop the "甲秀" brand, which helps with the online operation of the Social Science Cloud. It is important to the integration of academic achievements, improving Guizhou's academic image and constructing a high-end think tank in the province.
The three brands will be able to cooperate more with local Guizhou websites in a bid to develop the province's academic influence, said Wang Dengfa, head of the theory department of the Guizhou CPC Publicity Department.
Wu Dahua, dean of the Guizhou academy, demanded that the three brands take the approval as an opportunity to cooperate more with other think tanks in order to develop themselves into top Guizhou brands.
