With the establishment of the first stage of a national big data security range in Guiyang, which was unveiled this May as the first of its kind in China, a big data and cyber security drill will be held there from Nov 21 to 27.
Based on the two big data and cyber security drills held since 2016, Guiyang has gained wider experiences through combat exercises which set a city as the target, and established a prototype of the big data security range which is equipped with core competence and technologies.
As the first big data security certificate demonstration plot, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Area will work and share with various representative companies in key information infrastructure industries to reinforce the security ability of the range.

Next, the area will integrate strategy, campaign and tactics to make the range a national and civil-military one with key infrastructures and the ability to hold regular big data and cyber security drills.
Currently the range is equipped with a multilevel target system featuring simulation, virtual and real forms. The multiple target environment provides a platform for improving cyber attack and defense capabilities, and testing technologies and products.
Concentrated on the idea of sharing and joint development, the range plays a key role in improving the national cyber security level and guarantees the development of the big data industry in China.
