Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province has seen fruitful progress in dealing with business applicants' documents following the national-level new area having slashed the processing period by almost three fold.
Since the launch of integrated services in July, Guian has reduced the processing time from 518 days to 176 days and the materials needed have been decreased from 516 pieces to 250 pieces, said Tian Hongjin, deputy head of the management department of Guian administrative service center.
For individual business people, they only need to go to the window once to hand in all the applications for operation, catering and employees' health certificates, which is applicable for 12 different businesses including enterprises, restaurants, transportation services and clinics, Tian added.
A service platform for the integrated services is expected to be launched accordingly in a bid to deal with the applications automatically and send related messages to applicants as soon as possible.
The area will soon include eight new items into the integrated service system, such as second-hand house transactions and operations for taxis.
