Over 60 journalists from major media outlets in Guizhou were invited to a bridge-themed promotion event in Guizhou on Nov 13.
The event revealed the changes and achievements made in Guizhou throughout the past 40 years of reform and opening up by examining the province's bridges.
Throughout the past 40 years, Guizhou has built over 20,000 bridges of various different types on the karst plateau and has set dozens of world records. The province is home to 46 of the world's 100 highest bridges.

The event includes an interview and an achievement exhibition. The exhibition will include achievements made in traffic infrastructure in Guizhou and will last from mid-November of this year to March of next year. It will be held at various key spots in Guiyang.
Media outlets will carry out field interviews at Pingtang Grand Bridge, Daxiaojing Bridge and other major bridges in Guizhou.
