The innovation and entrepreneurship base for Tsinghua University graduates was launched in Guiyang on Oct 26. It is Tsinghua's first innovation and entrepreneurship base in Guizhou province.
A delegation from Tsinghua University inspected Guizhou this June and was impressed by the work of Guizhou Xiaoi, a robot technical company, which integrates AI technologies with traditional industries.

After an in-depth meeting, both sides reached agreed to establish an innovation and entrepreneurship base for further cooperation on technical projects and talent cultivation.
When the base is established, Tsinghua will organize student teams to study at Guizhou Xiaoi. Meanwhile, Xiaoi will provide essential support to the teams in terms of registration and R&D.
Xiaoi will provide guidance, allowances and other necessary resources. In November, Tsinghua and Xiaoi will further discuss the cooperation on talent cultivation, R&D and project introduction.
