For the purposes of promoting economic development, Guizhou government signed a memorandum of cooperation with the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) in Guiyang on Oct 17.
According to the memorandum, GACC will provide more support to Guizhou in the economic development of ports, special spaces under the customs' supervision and control, industrial structural transformation and upgrading, globalization of companies and products, and promotion of trade facilitation.

Meanwhile, Guizhou will strive to provide a better environment for the supervision and law enforcement of Guiyang customs, and promote the construction of spaces under the customs' supervision and control.
In recent years, Guizhou has achieved great success in the construction of a national big data comprehensive experimental area, a national ecological civilization experimental area and an inland open economy experimental area.

The reform will facilitate customs clearance and optimize services provided by GACC, giving Guizhou the opportunity to fully play its advantages and help with the development of regional companies to overcome poverty.
