An activity involving traditional Chinese culture started in Guiyang Shengfulu Primary School on Oct 9. Over 1,000 students and teachers attended the opening ceremony.
The first stage of the activity will last three years and aims to educate teenagers about traditional Chinese culture. Shengfulu Primary School will be the pilot school and will provide high quality teachers and an online education platform.

Together with a traditional Chinese culture academy and a technology company, the school will organize traditional Chinese culture lectures, recommend classic books, and improve the humanistic quality of students and teachers by making traditional Chinese culture education a part of the school's curriculum
In addition, Shengfulu Primary has paired with Datang Primary in Leishan county, about 250 kilometers east of Guiyang. The schools signed a pairing agreement and promised to keep promoting traditional Chinese culture education among teenagers.
The students of Datang Primary participated in traditional singing and dancing programs of the Miao ethnic group, demonstrating the allure of ethnic cultures.

According to Wu Liru, principal of Shengfulu Primary School, regular exchanges and tutorships with Datang Primary School will be arranged in the future, and teachers of the two schools will have opportunities to explore new forms of traditional Chinese culture education.
As one of the largest comprehensive internet service providers, Tencent will take advantage of its platform and resources to promote traditional culture, including the online education system provided to Shengfulu Primary School, which is also the first education project of Tencent's first cloud industry incubation base in Guizhou.
