China Telecom Cloud Computing Guizhou Information Park in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province has applied for Uptime Institute's M&O certification.
The certification guarantees the availability and reliability of China Telecom's data center infrastructure as well as its ability to perform maintenance and management services.
The park has stressed the importance of the certification as it reflects the strength of its data center.
The park has been making preparations for the certification since February of this year. It renovated eight machine rooms, including the refrigerator room and distribution room, made new labels for them, and established 23 institutional processes.
The park has studied data centers in Europe and the United States and adapted them to suit China's national conditions. It has become a leading world-class data center in China.
China's data center industry is growing quickly. Achieving M&O certification will promote China's data centers on a global scale.
Founded in 1993, the Uptime Institute has been committed to the exploration and research of data center infrastructure for 25 years. It is currently an important data center authority standards organization and third-party certification body.
M&O is Uptime Institute's professional certification on the standardized operation and maintenance management of data center infrastructure.
