A Guizhou delegation led by Sun Zhigang, Party secretary of CPC Guizhou committee, visited Saga prefecture, Japan on Sept 20 to learn about the city's cultural protection and agricultural research promotion.
Yamaguchi Yoshinori, governor of Saga prefecture, welcomed the delegation and signed a cooperation agreement with Sun after fruitful discussions.

The relationship between Guizhou and Saga started in 1998. Both regions have successfully cooperated on agriculture, culture, education, sports and charity.
Sun introduced Guizhou's Big Data Expo and Guiyang Global Eco Forum and invited Saga to visit the province.
According to Yamaguchi, Saga and Guizhou are both rich in natural resources and have strong industrial development, creating many opportunities for development.
Guizhou will strive to promote friendly exchange between the two regions and hopes to create a mutually beneficial partnership.
