An art exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up was held at Guizhou Art Museum in Guiyang from Sept 1 to 9.
The eight-day event showcased 70 pieces of outstanding artwork created by artists from Guizhou Painting Institute. During the exhibition, five large scale works were displayed that highlighted Guizhou's unique cultural characteristics such as the province's ecological civiization and its Yangming culture.
In addition to these five pieces, other works exhibited spotighted Guizhou's ethnic customs and festivals, as well as how China's art has changed over 40 years since the reform and opening-up in 1978.
