China Telecom Cloud Computing Guizhou Information Park recently began interior decoration after nearly one year of construction in Guian New Area of Guiyang, Guizhou province.
The park is located in Guian New Area Electronic Information Industrial Park and covers an area of 340,000 square meters, including 20 buildings, 50,000 racks and 800,000 severs.
The total cost of the park is seven billion yuan ($1.03 billion), including four billion in the first stage, which finished construction in 2015.
The second stage includes A7 and A8 data centers with an area of 34,000 sq m. They can accommodate up to 4,500 racks and 67,500 servers. The buildings meet national standards in terms of durability, fire safety and earthquake resistance.
When completed, the park will provide data storage, disaster recovery back up, cloud computing and big data service for national departments and international and domestic companies.
China Telecom has formed a service support system of over 100,000 operation and maintenance staff in the cloud computing field, allowing it to provide 24/7 professional services.
