According to the Guizhou Economic and Information Commission, the Guizhou IND Cloud public service platform has recently become one of four industrial internet platform pilot projects with 30 million yuan ($4.36 million) worth of national financial support.
The platform was launched in 2016 and makes use of the latest cloud computing, internet of things and big data technology to provides online and offline services for industrial companies in research and development, manufacturing, and sales.

The platform has developed several cloud service modules for industrial cloud manufacturing, industrial internet of things, industrial product trading and industrial data innovation application, including 37 national software copyrights and 3 national utility model patents.
With over 149,000 registered enterprise users, the platform received a net profit of 8.25 million yuan for the past three years.
The platform contributes to the promotion of industrial digitalization, networking and intellectualization and was selected as the pilot project for the integration of manufacturing and the internet by the Ministry of Industrial and Information Technology of China in 2017.
