A total of 30 teams consisting of 300 athletes participated in the First Guizhou Junior Winter Sports Conference. The conference consisted of downhill skiing, skiing tours, and snow football.
"It's quite a different experience skiing in Guizhou. The weather is warm and the snow is softer compared to northern China," said Sun Yan, a 17-year-old girl from Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.
