Guian New Area, a national demonstration area of inland opening-up economy in Guizhou province, invited tourists to spend winter in the mountainous landscape and experience the ethnic culture.
The area held a meeting for business investment and winter tourism in Zhengzhou, capital of North China's Henan province, on Dec 25, promoting its ethnic customs and green ecological environment.
During the conference, several quality tourist routes covering dozens of scenic spots were recommended.
Tourists from outside the province and overseas countries can enjoy 70 percent off in their tickets for scenic spots such as Yunmanhu International Leisure Resort and VR Town in Guian New Area from Dec 1 this year to Feb 28 next year.
Cultural Tourism Industry Development Center of Guian New Area and Zhengzhou Tourism Administration signed a strategic partnership agreement at the meeting, expecting to promote economic exchanges and expand the tourism market between the two sides.
To ensure that tourists are able to relax and enjoy their travels in Guian New Area, work groups comprising of local officials will guarantee the implementation of the winter tourism discounts, according to the Cultural Tourism Industry Development Center of Guian New Area.
