Guizhou's first five-level interchange, Baima Interchange, was put in use on Nov 15.
Located in Gui'an New Area, a national demonstration area for inland opening-up economies in Guizhou province, the interchange has comprehensive functions.
Apart from the two over ground roads serving as normal overpasses to ease congested traffic, the three underground roads provide space for the metro G1, subway station and even two large commercial areas.
As one of the most important joints for internal traffic conversion and external traffic transit in Gui'an New Area, the interchange started construction in October 2016.
The opening of the Baima Interchange will effectively strengthen the link between the area's main roads and distributor roads, realizing smooth traffic conditions in the popular area.
