Aiming to construct an area appropriate for living, traveling and working, the Gui'an New Area, a national demonstration area in Guizhou province, is speeding up the construction of urban infrastructure and supporting facilities.
The area has completed a water ecological control system, which integrates resource, security, environment, and landscaping. In the process of construction, the Gui'an New Area has revealed its characteristic architectures, combining traditional local culture with Western culture.
The subway connecting Guiyang is near completion. Metro S1's startup will make the time from Gui'an New Area to Guiyang in only an hour. The college town in the area has full WiFi coverage. The site of Sino-ASEAN Education Week, affiliated school of Beijing Normal University and other service facilities will be built this year.
The Gui'an New Area has attracted 38 top 500 enterprises in three years, including Apple Inc, Qualcomm, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, Foxconn Technology Group and so on. These enterprises' leading projects were successfully launched in the area.
The Biological big data center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, astronomical data center of the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) and the Supercomputer Center built in Gui'an New Area are helping the area move towards the direction of high-tech.
